Recently a trip was made to Morrillton, Arkansas to visit a small, country cemetery called Bold Pilgrim Cemetery.

The reason for the trip was to pick up a load of D/2, a biological solution used to clean gravestones and other stone surfaces. However, once I arrived I fell in love with this beautiful cemetery and the peace and tranquility that abounds there.

Beautiful stones cover this picturesque cemetery. I walked the whole perimeter taking picture after picture of all the beautiful, historical stones.

Of course, several were on hand to learn how to use D/2, including myself.

This is Rusty Brenner demonstrating how to use D/2 when cleaning a stone.

And finally, the reason we need to preserve our cemeteries. This gravestone still has a "fighting chance" to be repaired and survive several more decades. But left like this, it will soon just fade away.
